Texas roots, punk grit, and Lowcountry soul.

“Don't Miss The Feeling” is the debut album from Them Damn Ghosts, the genre-bending project from former punk frontman and bassist Sean Hall. Influenced by Texas Country legends like Randy Rogers Band, Reckless Kelly, and Turnpike Troubadours, the album fuses the raw emotion of red dirt country with the edge and urgency of punk rock.

Written in the heart of Charleston, South Carolina’s Lowcountry, the songs pulse with themes of life, love, and the ties that bind us—from lifelong friends to blood-deep family. Each track offers a story, an anthem, or a moment of reflection. Whether it’s a slow burn under neon lights or a barroom rocker with steel-twanged swagger, every note is anchored by authentic emotion and wide-open storytelling.

This is Texas Country reimagined through the eyes of a coastal outsider with a rebel’s soul. It's music for road trips with your best friend, bonfires behind the barn, and long talks under southern skies.

Whatever you do, Don’t Miss The Feeling.

About

Them Damn Ghosts

Riding high in the Lowcountry

Them Damn Ghosts is the Texas Country-infused project of Sean Hall, former bassist and lead singer of Good In The Sack—a standout act in Austin’s explosive punk scene from 1999 to 2004. Known for their raucous energy, biting lyrics, and sweat-soaked sets, the band helped shape a raw, underground sound that defined an era of Texas punk.

After years of playing loud and living fast, Hall’s songwriting matured, trading in the angst of youth for something deeper. With Them Damn Ghosts, he merges the edge of his punk past with the soul of Texas Country, drawing inspiration from artists like Turnpike Troubadours, Reckless Kelly, and Randy Rogers Band.

Written in the Lowcountry of Charleston, South Carolina, the band’s debut album, Don’t Miss The Feeling, explores themes of love, family, friendship, and the quiet revelations of growing older. The songs are deeply human—rooted in country tradition but unafraid to carry the scars and spirit of rock & roll.

Them Damn Ghosts is a band born of contrast and clarity. It's music for anyone who's lived a little, loved a lot, and still believes in the power of a damn good song.
